Reason why the PRC site is down
I am posting this to kill the thining that, "PRC IS DOWN BECAUSE THEY ARE CURRENTLY PUBLISHING THE BOARD RESULT"
The PRC site is down NOT BECAUSE they are updating the site. As a webmaster, I know that a site can be updated without turning it offline.
The site is down because it has been reported that it EXCEEDED the bandwidth, meaning, a lot of pepole are accessing the site in anticipation for the results.
FYI, The PRC site was down the half of december and january before the december board exam... same reason, too many people are accessing the site.
Please be patient. The more you visit the site, the more it adds to the bandwidth. Usually, the result will be published on news agencies first and not on the website of PRC [Because it is always down during these times]
