“The re-take shall be on a voluntary basis and shall be offered once to an examinee who may take it either in June or December 2007 Board of Nursing examinations,” Brion said.

Brion said that although the examinees will re-take the exam, they need not surrender the nursing licenses previously issued to them since the issue is not about licensure but about the VisaScreen certificates.

OK this statement is a PARADOX on so many levels and hope Sec. Brion doesnt think we are idiots not to understand what he secretly means here and that he is trying to screw us, to those who dont get it let me break it down:

1) fine its a given that we dont surrender our licenses BUT ITS THE SAME DAMN THING, if we pass then we get the Visa Screen while if we fail we have to retake the whole exam AGAIN AND WAIVER OR LICENSES in order for us to qualify for the VISA SCREEN

2) Why only once?!?!?! Sec. Brion makes it want to seem we initially dont surrender our licenses but his statement makes it seem WE CAN ONLY RETAKE 3 and 5(for the sake of the Visa screen) ONCE, so it means if we fail we cannot retake 3 and 5 on the nest NLE meaning we HAVE TO SURRENDER OUR LICENSES AND RETAKE 1-5 TO QUALIFY FOR THE VISA SCREEN, based on what the CGFNS said we are going to retake for the visa screen, EVEN THE CGFNS EXAM CAN BE RETAKEN MORE THAN ONCE, WHY IS IT OURS IS ONLY ONCE

3) SEC. BRION DONT MAKE US SEEM STUPID NOT TO UNDERSTAND THE HIDDEN MEANING BEHIND YOUR STATEMENT, YOU ARE CLEARLY MAKING US CHOOSE BETWEEN NOT TAKING THE EXAM, WORK AS NURSES IN THIS GODFORSAKEN COUNTRY AND GIVE UP OUR HOPES OF GOING TO THE US OR TAKE THE RISK OF THE RETAKE WHERE YES WE DON'T SURRENDER OUR LICENSES IF WE PASS ONLY ON A 1 TIME EXAM SHOT ERGO FORCING US TO SURRENDER OUR LICENSES IF WE FAIL IN THE RETAKE TESTS 1-5 IN ORDER TO QUALIFY FOR THE VISA SCREEN

TO MAKE IT SIMPLE THIS IS WHAT YOU WANT SEC. BRION:

PASS THE RETAKE AND YOU KEEP YOUR LICENSES AND QUALIFY FOR THE VISA SCREEN

FAIL AND YOU CANNOT GET ANOTHER RETAKE AND U HAVE TO RETAKE THE WHOLE EXAM AND SURRENDER YOUR LICENSES... ITS THE SAME DAMN THING AS SURRENDERING OUR LICENSES THAT U TAKE FORM US AND RETURN IF WE PASS
