RP seeks ‘flexible’ CGFNS policy

RP seeks ‘flexible’ CGFNS policy

The Philippines’ last-ditch effort to convince the United States’ Commission on Graduates of Foreign Nursing Schools (CGFNS) to accept passers of a scandal-tainted June 2006 licensure exam includes a “flexible implementation” of its policy.

ok 3 things i find strange about this article and ultimately makes me laugh at how "RELIABLE" Phillipine media is:

1)the date... Feb 1? how can the PRC implement a policy that was dated 2 weeks before the actual decision of the CGFNS was released, which is opposite of the action of the PRC for an appeal and said in a TV report "We will do the appropriate actions after appealing to the CGFNS"
2)that these infos and dates(deadlines) are posted outside the PRC bulletin boards and retakers refer to those who will take the NLE for the NTH time for flunking(2nd, 3rd, 4th and so on)... which seems to me the reporter who made this article seemed to have gotten his info from the bulletin boards outside not even asking inside or to the office of Chairwoman Rosero
3)so it would seem that the PRC will go against what the CGFNS said : "Consequently, CGFNS urges the Philippine authorities to provide an opportunity for re-take of those tests without surrender of licensure so that the June 2006 passers may qualify for the VisaScreen Certificate."

KUDOS TO THE REPORTER WHO EXPENED ALL HIS INVESTIGATIVE SKILLS TO COME UP WITH THIS NEWS ARTCLIE
