Review center execs charged for 2006 nursing board mess
MANILA, Philippines -- The Department of Justice (DoJ) has filed a criminal complaint against officials of the Gapuz and Inress review centers in connection with last year's nursing board examination leakage.
In an 18-page resolution, the DoJ will file a case for violation of Republic Act 8981 or the Act Modernizing the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) against Ricarte Gapuz Jr., Elena Gapuz-Altarejos and Jonna Bucud of the Gapuz Review Center and George Cordero of the Inress Review Center.
In a resolution approved by Chief State Prosecutor Jovencito Zuño, the DoJ accused the officials from Gapuz and Inress violated Section 15 (a) of RA 8981.
