500 item manuscript in a student's hands confirmed, 17,000 licenses might be revoked - Leonor Tripon Rosero

http://www.pinoybsn.tk

PRC Chair Leonor Tripon-Rosero confirmed a 500 item manuscript containing all the questions in the previous board examination has landed to some student's hands and is indicative of massive widespread leakage that might compromise the licenses of almost 17,000 new board passers.

" We really do not know how the whole manuscripts landed to the students. " She said.

A week ago, several students claimed that a 500 item "LEAK" was given to them by a certain "COLLEGE" , not a review center.

Students claims that a few minutes after the examination, Some students rationalize ALL the items in the exam while showing a 50 page thick paper ONE BY ONE.

" That is IMPOSSIBLE, it will never be possible that that student can write all the questions and answer while answering the actual examination " A student said.

This issue was brought to the PRC few weeks ago, but was never included in their initial investigation. If it would have been included, it is possible that the results will never be released and all items will be nulled, opening for the grand possibility of a RETAKE.

Rosero said that everything is now at the NBI's hands. While warning all the students who passed that their license is still volatile and once the NBI confirms that a leak existed, They will not think twice to revoke all the 17,000 licenses and suspend the registration all those who took the examination, creating a WORLD RECORD of the most revoked license in a single event in the history of any profession on earth.

However, it will be rosero's own fire that might burn her in the future. Releasing the result is PRCs idea, and revoking 17,000 licenses will only prove that they have DEAF EARS for the deans who requested not to release the result until further investigation by an independent body, which was the NBI.

How NBI will point each and every student that is responsible with the leakage is a herculian task, and more likely ... Those at the topnotchers list are the first one to be investigated, the first ones where NBI's keen eyes will land upon.

Yesterday, OCTAVIANO temporarily halted the oath taking of more than 17,000 nurses who took the board.

" We better wait for the NBI investigation " she said.

Meanwhile, The national frenzy finally reached the senate and congress, both calling for a massive investigation in aid of legislation.

Surely, the future of the 17,821 newly registered nurse is at it's fragile phase. More likely that the bureau will verify the "LEAK" as it was previously verified by the commission who conducted the examination.

Yesterday, NBI said that they are looking for the "NO LEAKAGE" side, exploring all the possibility of the event's determinants, but that was the last thing the 17,000 students expect to hear.

With their license at the edge of a cliff, Students are now realizing the inevitable truth : Their Licenses gone... with the wind.

Im really really disappointed!!! Not all who took the exam benefited from that leakage.. To PRC!!: "Nanakawan niyo kinabukasan namin". And to those who took the exam who benefited from that manuscript: "Bakit ngayon niyo lang nilabas mga expose niyo?? Ano gusto niyo palabasin???" Is that the form of your propaganda?? Please, maging makatarungan naman sana tayo!

Lalong lumala ang situstion, kawawa naman ang mga students, They better do something ASAP.To the student who hold the said manuscript bakit ngayon nga lang dati kasi review center daw with at least 30-50 questions ang nirereklamo? Pag hinawakan ng senate itong issue na ito years ang bibilangin and after nun mapapatungan ng ibang issue tapos wala namang mangyayari.

this was the expected issue na magbibigay ng bangungot sa mga students na nag-benefit sa mga leakage..darating din ang justice!and truth shall prevail..

paano nman ung mga students na pumasa without the leakage?? pano kami? unfair nman smen.. sana nde muna ngrelease ng board exam result..

grabe..d pa man lumalabas result eh nagreklamo na ako na retake na lang kasi wala kami laban sa may mga hawak ng leakages together w/ my friends kasi mismo kami nakakita ng leakage..pero iilan lang kami nagrereklamo kasma ang 91 complainants..tas nung lumabas result ako together w/ my friends with God's help nakapasa kami without leakage mabait talaga si Lord..he knows who's honest.. now na lumabas ang result eh mas marami nagreklamo, bat kami nung reklamo at post dito internet halos konti kakampi namin?ngayon pwerke marami bumagsak now dami reklamo? tas now lang inilabas yang 500 item leakage? NAPAKASTUPID!!!!!! if talagang purpose nyo eh lumaban dapat bago pa lang nilabas ang result eh ipinakita na yan ,but now lang? hay naku, tas ngayon naghahabol kayo? bat hindi nyo sinamahan nun ang 91 complainants? ako with my friends lumalaban ngayon kasi naghirap kami sa exam without any leakage at alam kong marami na gaya namin na pumasa na hindi man lang nahawakan ang lintik na leakages na yan!!!!Stupid lang talaga!!!

Sana naman tigilan na yung issue and move on.

There is one sentence that i can say, i mean three sentences:Thank God I passed! He is my witness that I didnt have any leakage and sacrificed my gmiks just to passed d boards. Hallelujah!!!

Can the writer of this article post along the source of this news?

For credibility purposes.

incompetent is da much better word to use.. nacheat ka man o nde, cheater ka pa din.. huh??

So true. So true. Mas maproblema nga ata kapag pumasa.

Nurses can’t take oath

By Florante S. Solmerin

THE Board of Nursing of the Philippine Regulatory Commission has put on hold the oathtaking of more than 17,000 nurses who passed the June licensure exams on suspicions the test questions might have been leaked.
Board chairman Eufemia Octaviano said they decided to postpone the oathtaking ceremony after a meeting with the deans of prominent nursing schools such as the University of the Philippines, the University of the East, and the University of Santo Tomas.
She said the postponement was meant to allow the commission to sound out other deans and await the results of a probe by the National Bureau of Investigation into the alleged leakage of questions.
Group chairman Leonor Rosero has warned that if the bureau finds that the questions had been leaked, those who took the test could be suspended or have their licenses revoked.
Two commission employees who were identified as the source of the leak have been suspended and are under investigation.
But investigators must grapple with the problem of identifying which of the nurses that took the exam had received the leaked questions.
“It’s now the job of the NBI to establish if there was really a leakage,” Rosero said.
“The only evidence that we have is the manuscript of the 500 test questions. How this manuscript landed into the hands of the students, we really don’t know.”
In the House, Surigao del Sur Rep. Prospero Pichay said he would file a resolution asking the committee on good government to inquire into the nursing mess, saying it could hurt the standing of Filipino nursing graduates.
He said the investigation would review all relevant national laws including the Nursing Act of 2002 and the PRC Modernization Act of 2000.
Senator Richard Gordon also called for an investigation of the leak.
“Such allegations could taint the credibility of the entire government-sponsored testing system and affect the image of all Filipino professionals,” he said. With Joel M. Sy Egco and Roy Pelovello

is there the article where you based your write-up?

i mean is this the article where you based your write up?

i think it is better to know the truth now kesa naman lalong magtagal pa yan at lumabas ang totoo if we are already prctacing our profession... mas mahirap yun... nurse ka na trapos marerevoke pa yung licence.. tsaka ng fair na din dun sa mga totoong nag-aral.. sana wag masyadong SELFISh yung mga pumasa kc safety ng patient and pinag uusapan dito at nde ang letseng kahihiyan yan.. at sana inisip din ng PRC yung consequences nung ginawa nilang pagrelease ng result,, kagaya ngayun, pano na,, in case na may retake nga kawawa naman yung mga pumasa tapos babagsak sa retake diba mas malaking kahihiyan...

ang sagot sa problema RETAKE! nkakahiya n kc ung ngyayari, khit u passed the board tingin parin sa atin cheaters, kya kung ako sa mga pumasa maretake nlang.kung tlagang confident tyo na we deaerve to pass bt tyo mtatakot n mgretake.dapat kc nung una plang, nung nlaman n na my na leak n ans. dpat ngdecide n agad ang prc at bon n mgretake nlang, hindi ung gni2! ang gulo2 n!
