An essay I came accross from a gapuz reviewee, I want to share it to all nursing students. True or not, it is still worth reading. We should look at each side of the issue.

Position Essay on the RA Gapuz Nursing Review Center Leakage Issue

Accordingly, I'm affected by the issue. It’s not because I was an RA Gapuz reviewee but I felt so alarmed into the situation of other nursing examinees who tried their best to take that rigorous and comprehensive licensure examination for nurses and sad to say they did not have the chance to get a copy of that controversial ‘leakage’ prior to that said test.

In the wake of that phenomenal issue, I’m so disappointed and even so disgusted since its really unfair considering the fact that RA Gapuz had privately/secretly handed that 'controversial leakage’ from the Board of Nursing in respect of the conduct of the June 11th and 12th Nursing Board Exams. What keeps me dragging now is the validity of the fact that the review center called for an emergency review as what its reviewees assert part of their final coaching.

On that same day, they were required to pay at least P 2, 000.00 for that leakage paper containing sixty five (65) items with complete answers covering topics relative to psychiatric mental nursing and surgical-medical nursing.

These factual and circumstancial pieces of evidence as confirmed and presented by ninety-one (91) complainants (Baguio nursing examinees) are deemed valid, authentic/genuine since they are brave enough to expose this issue for they are actually holding pertinent documents that will testify on RA Gapuz’ direct participation in that ‘leakage issue’.
Professionally speaking, I am amenable on the growing public clamor that the outstanding track record of that review center looms as a phenomenal question of integrity and even a perennial subject of public and professional scrutiny of their self-proclaimed credibility and excellence.
The authenticity of the facts and evidence as collected and presented by the complainants manifest to the fact the nurses/nursing professionals they have produced are just thin cans that seemingly contain something or nothing less in totality.

A true registered nurse is not a liar and is never been a cheater. He/she is professionally honest in deeds and actions from the moment he/she is reviewing for the exam, the time he/she is taking the exam and eventually the time he/she is practicing his/her profession.
A true registered nurse is professionally prepared and intellectually competent to face the professional test of their field of endeavor. Professional ethics should always be upheld at all levels, not just securing for license for personal growth and development but living up to the morals/ideals expected to practice by a professional.

Now, more than ever, professionalism and honesty in national board examinations is then imperative to expect a credible, authentic and genuine Nursing Licensure Exams. The Professional Regulation Commission must therefore strictly enforce and implement laws and policies to immediately secure legal actions to any anomaly/issue arising in respect to the conduct of any professional examination.

i am a gapuz reviewee and proud to be one....i shouldn't have commented on this and be quiet as my co-reviewees at gapuz told me but i was damn strucked with what the writer said about the 2,000 payment--THIS IS NOT TRUE and the writer know this for sure if he really reviewed at gapuz...we can attest to this--do u have any proof? ---don't you know that sir ray can sue you for what you said? this is libel...i will report this to sir ray and he will damn sure do something about it---amen!!!

I pity our youth today, especially nursing examinees.

They need protection against the acts of their elders--examiners and reviewers!

Lets think like a nurse and be patient centered like we should and supposed to be..lets not think of the nurse's international standing or how employers outside the county thinks about our credibility for hiring..

the issue of leakage will not stick out like a sore thumb if its non existent..

For those people who are angry to those who are brave enough to expose and stand out for the truth DO YOU KNOW HOW MANY PEOPLE SPECIALLY THE POOR ARE VICTIMS OF MALPRACTICE BY UNTRAINED/UNQUALIFIED NURSES WHO JUST PASSED THE BOARD BEACAUSE OF LEAKAGE?

They are the real victims here..not you guys who opposes the retake or board reform..victims are paid with small amount of money(good enough for 3 day meals) to shut up and grieve silently..

They got bad future..graduate nurses dont..if your sure about ur quality as a nurse..stand up and oppose the leakage/money talks and cheating from those people who take advantage of us

I am also a Gapuz reviewee...We are proud to be part of it!!!
True, that there is NO 2,000 payments for our leakage... I have a bf working in Gapuz & I even tried to asked him about the leakage before... There are people who can't do nothing on their lives... Sir Ray is really a Good man, funny & you will enjoy the review...
So people who will take a review, sign up in Gapuz...

YOu know Gapuz review center is a disgrace to the profession... I am a reviewer myself and he is cheater and has nothing in mind but to earn and do buisiness... what a pitty to mr gapuz and he will be buisy to attend to his law suite..
