House majority leader rejects nursing board retake
House majority leader rejects nursing board retake
By Maricel V. Cruz, Reporter
PENDING concrete evidence to the contrary, the nursing licensure examination in June must be regarded as regular and those who passed it allowed to take their oath of office without delay.
House Majority Leader Prospero Nograles of Davao City on Sunday asked the Professional Regulatory Commission (PRC) to uphold the integrity of the examination, saying it is unfair to require candidates, including those who have passed it, to take it again.
“A retake is out of the question,” said Nograles, chairman of the House Committee on Rules.
“It is better to assume the regularity of the exam because it is unfair to punish everyone,” Nograles explained. “Many of my constituents who passed the board spent time and fortune to pass the exam, and it is irresponsible to require them to go through the same ordeal again. “I know of somebody in my district, who was told while already undergoing training in a hospital to leave and wait until the whole fiasco is fully resolved.”
Nograles said the PRC should instead exert efforts to identify those who benefited from the leakage. He advised the regulatory agency to zero in on the review centers, which may have received the leakage.
“Once the review centers are determined, it’s easy to identify those who enrolled in them,” he said. “They should be the ones who should retake the licensure exam.”
Of the 42,006 examinees, 17,821 passed. The PRC, however, announced it might put the oath taking scheduled this month on hold, following reports of irregularity.

hahaha... retake is the best option paren... to all passer, pls naman use ur common sense. kayo pa nagsabi na commonsense lang ung exam. bakit ndi nyo magamit ngayon?!
Posted by Anonymous | 1:00 PM
u obviously dont know what common sense means. havent you thought of several considerations for a retake? if u agree wd a retake, then u xur have a prob regarding thinking. hindi kmi takut kumuha ulit if thats what u all are trying to point out... ang problema dito budget, the effort, time, anxiety levels, sacrifices. why wud we prove the 2nd tym? hu are you to dare us to? simple lng nmn eh, even wd the nullified items, we were still able to make it. now, isnt that enuf proof? at kahit ipag gitgitan niu na had the tests3&5 not been nullified, kahit perfect niu pa yung test5 but u failed in either test1,2&4, hindi ka pa rin mkakapasa.

5th poster: ang bagsak bagsak! wag ka ng umepal! study harder next time. gusto mo pa mang damay. Or if you want, retake na lang mga flunkers pero don't include the passers na. We've proven ourselves alrdy. Even if they have invalidated the leaked questions we still managed to pass the exam.
7th poster: clearly you don't have a common sense. you don't think. wawa ka naman.:)

Having a retake doesn't mean that you'll have a better chance of passing the exam..so pls if you just want to have retake because of this reason its better to take the december board and huwag niyo na kaming idamay because we have proven ourselves already.

poster 8 and 9: alam nyo ba ang pinagsasabi nyo?! bigay ko sa inyo yung pinakamadaling example.. pang kindergarten na exampla para maintindihan ng pinagyayabang nyong common sense. compute nyo to. 74 74 74 74 80 = ano average
pasado dba?! ito: 75 75 75 75 70 = compute mo nga?! pumasa ba?! ano? walang impact ba ang ninullyfy nila? and to think of it, maraming nakakuha ng 75... now tanong nyo sarili nyo, ito ba tlga score ko or manipulated na score ang binigay sa akin. un lang naman ang pinagtatangol namin. ung truth. well cguro kayo kinakampihan nyo ang ginawa ng prc. kaya ndi sila matuto tuto. mahiya naman kayo...

to the 11 poster, eto tanong ko sau..wat if kung pinalad kang pumasa? magrereklamo ka pa rin ba at gusto mo pa rin magretake. Wala ka kc sa position ng mga board passers eh, God has plans for us and tanggapin mo na lang na hndi talaga umabot ng 75% ang grade mo at huwag mo kaming sisihin kung ganun ang grade mo kc ikaw naman ang sumagot sa mga tanong dun sa board exam. no more what if's....It only shows that you are still in DENIAL!

ano to kanta, muling ibalik ang nakaraan? KAYO ANG HINDI NA KAKA GETS. BINAWAS NA NGA YAN TO CLEANSE THE DAMN LEAKAGE. NGAYON KUNG HINDI PA RIN KAYO NA KAKAINTINDI, PURO PA RIN KAYO "WHAT IF KUNG HINDI BINAWAS" MAS MARAMI PAPASA. Eh ang COMPUTATION PO HINDI NA BUBUHAY SA WHAT IF. ano baaaaaaaaaaaaa??!! walang what if, tapos na binawas na.
