THE Court of Appeals questioned the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) re-computation of the scandal-tainted June nursing board licensure examination, wondering how the passing percentage could have increased when it should have gone down. Associate Justice Vicente Veloso asked government lawyers how, if the PRC's goal in re-computing the test results was make sure no one benefited from the leakage of exam questions, the number of passers went up by 1.8-percent from 41.24 to 42.42 percent.
He also asked what the point was of re-computing the test results when the leakage happened only in Baguio and Manila.Because of the leakage, PRC issued Resolution 31 invalidating portions of the nursing examination.
The appellate court will continue hearing on Monday the petition of the PRC for the lifting of a temporary restraining order the court issued last month against the oath-taking of board passers.
It also ordered the PRC to provide a list of the 41.24 percent who originally passed the exam

Feedback from those who were there at the hearing: That's the only negative comment towards the PRC lawyers, but during the entire event, the Justices & OSG grilled the UST lawyers.
FYI: The justices asked the UST lawyers why they respected the decision of PRC during the 1996 Physical Therapist Leakage that widely favored UST students & why they are not respecting PRC's decision now
.. Nakakahiya talaga UST, nung sila pala nandaya nung 1996, kinampihan nila PRC kaya walang retake, ngayon ayaw nila pumayag sa decision ng PRC... GRABE!!!!

Therefore may leakage o wala, meron papasa at babagsak.

HOY, UST DEAN AND OTHER COMPLAINANTS FROM UST:
PAKI-ISPLIKA NGA, BAKIT HINDI NINYO PINAG-ARURUTAN ANG RETAKE NG PHYSICAL THERAPIST EXAM NA MAY LEAKAGE NUNG 1996--DAHIL PABOR SA UST ANG WALANG RETAKE?
PERO NGAYON, DI KAYO MAHAPAYANG GATANG AT GUSTO NYO NG RETAKE-- PARA MAGKAROON NG CHANCE NA MAG-TOP SA RETAKE ANG BEST BETS NINYO NA DI NAG-TOP NG JUNE 2006 EXAM!!!!!
KALA NYO DI NAMIN ALAM!!!

respect the decision of court of appeals... UST... let us move on and accept the fact that you don't have to be the topnotcher because there are always born greater than you or anyone.
PRC... do not allow the retake because it will become a chain soon for those who failed..making leakage as an excuse for another retake... Pls release our license.. God bless!!
