Over 200 nurses applied for work in Saudi Arabia

MORE than 200 licensed nurses from the region have applied to fill in the 2,000 vacancies for nurse in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA).
This was announced on Thursday by regional Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA) Attorney II Nilbert Paler, who said that at least 224 nurses have applied after they announced the hiring.
The recruitment was coursed through the POEA by the Ministry of Health, through the Royal Embassy of Saudi Arabia, office of the Employment Attaché.
Paler said of the total applicants, 114 are Muslim and 110 are Christian nurses.
An applicant must be a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Nursing, with or without experience. A Professional Regulations Commission (PRC) license is required if applicants are Christians while it is optional for Muslim applicants.
