Palace urges 2006 passers to retake nursing exam
Chief Presidential Legal Counsel Sergio Apostol yesterday advised board passers in the controversial nursing licensure exams last June, 2006 to voluntarily retake the exams if they intend to practice the nursing profession in the United States.
The MalacaƱang official said board passers in the nursing licensure exams last June should retake the exams instead of pursuing an appeal before the Commission on Graduates of Foreign Nursing Schools (CGFNS) for a reversal of a decision barring board passers last June from getting US visas because of doubts raised on their competencies by the cheating controversy.
