DOLE, schools sign deal for nursing test review

The DOLE under Secretary Arturo Brion with the blessings of madam President GMA recently concluded and approved that the voluntary special exams will be free of charge since it will be shouldered by the government.(Does everyone know that the 20 million pesos funding comes directly from the pocket of tax payers)It even comes with a week of free review on the selected universities and colleges. As most Filipinos are free loaders and which binge on free items, this is quite a fiesta of sorts. But wait it does have a catch. According to the article " THE REPORT SAID THOSE WHO WILL FAIL THE SPECIAL EXAMINATION WILL NO LONGER BE ALLOWED TO TAKE IT AGAIN." This is the sad statement which is mostly missed by readers. Try reading the articles again before filing for the retake. What a price to pay for the victims of such a scam, the future hangs in the balance for each and everyone who passed the june 2006 NLE. Shame on those people who orchestrated this mess. On the other hand i would like to ask secretary Brion the complete guidelines on the said exams and why does it have to be a make or break situation for the victims. Instead of finding ways and means of helping us nurses legally you even have the nerve of pushing our backs against the wall. Secretary Brion we need answers and we need it badly. Our future is at stake here and this is no laughing matter. A little empathy will help.
