PRC confirms leakage in nursing exam
The Professional Regulation Commission confirmed Thursday that test questions in the nursing board examination last month have been leaked, ABS-CBN News learned.
A PRC fact-finding committee tasked to probe the leakage also said that the leakage during the test from June 11-12 was traced to two members of the Board of Nursing. The committee recommended the filing of administrative charges against the two.
The committee, however, did not identify the board officials. They were earlier directed by the board to inhibit themselves from the processing and release of the results pending the investigation.
"This leakage irregularity shall be referred to the National Bureau of Investigation for its own investigation and determination of all persons and parties involved and their criminal prosecution under the law," the fact-finding body said.
The report was signed by Leonor Tripon-Rosero, chairwoman, and commissioners Avelina de la Rea and Renato Valdecantos.
Talk and news reports of the test leakage came out after an examinee, who declined to identify herself, said that a review center in Baguio City handed out test questions that would appear in the exam.
The PRC earlier denied the rumors, saying that the examination system has been improved to prevent leakages.
The exam results are expected to be released next week.

ngayun po na napatunayan na may leakage talaga, paano na kaya ang mangyayari sa mga nakakuha ng leakge eh di matataas ang score nila, pano yun???? di ba highest to lowest ang kinukuha nila na grade???? baka mas marami ang bumagsak????? dahil marami ang nakakuha ng matataas na score...unfair naman yata un...

sana naman may parusa sa mga taong may leakage at saka sa review center na nagkaroon ng connection between PRCBON!!! we want justice!!! kung makakapasa talaga tayo eh makakapasa tayo!!! wag yung gagamit tayo ng leakage para lang makapasa!!! eh yung review center na nangbigay ng leakage, di ba kayo confident sa mga students mo??? mga bobo ba lahat sila kaya kinailangan mong kumuha ng leakage??? nakakahiya naman ginawa mo!!! pati tuloy ibang bansa di na naniniwala sa nursing dito sa ating bansa!!!! korak tlga!what a shame..nkkhiya man aminin na pinoy tlga mgaling sa cheating..yoko magmalinis coz i myself cheat pero small time lng un..quizzes and mga surprise exam ng school nmin pero ibang usapan na if board exam noh..it's the only thing u can prove to urself na kaya mo na..kaya nga may preboard to help urself prepare before the big event of our lives,the days of the board exam.kakainis isipin na may mga nkaperfect dajil sa leakage na yan..

mahirap tanggapin pero nangyari na. pero ano nga ba ang nararapat? the results are soon to be release.. lets face the fact that some persons who do not deserve to pass the exam will pass.. how about those who failed? isnt it so unfair for them.. i've prepared so much for this exam and i know all of you who also took the exam prepared so...pero naman bkit kailangan ganito pa ang nangyari.. kung papasa po tayo, papasa tayo.. kala ko pa nman alam natin isa sa bioethics, pero parang nakalimutan na ng iba... di nman kailangan maglamangan.. di nman nadadala sa langit ang board rating.. u'll never be happy if you don't deserve it

tsk tsk tsk! nakakahiya ito! money talks talaga! Ito lang masasabi ko sa mga matatandang may posisyon sa buhay mapa nurse man kayo o hindi: wala kayong karapatan na ilagay sa peligro ang mga kawawang nilalang na umaasang magkakaroon ng magandang kinabukasan! porket ba stable na ang buhay nyo at you call yourselves professional with a decent and high paying job pwede na kayong magbara bara sa pagdedesisyon!
Kung darating man ang panahon na mararatay ang inyong katawan sa ICU, sana matapat sa inyo ang nurse na nakapasa dahil sa leakage at kung ano pang forms of cheating! grrr!

Walang Hiya talaga ang BON members and the review centers that are part of these. May they rot in hell and all the money they made. I just hope that when this shit hit the ceiling, they made enough money to to buy them comfort and solace.
I felt sick to the stomach to the BON who gave the nursing students all the heartache, pain...and now this shame...
Please, Lord I pray that Letty Kuan is not a part of this scandal. The day before the board exam, second coursers are required to appear in an interview with one of the BON-- she happened to be the one interviewing the over 1,000 of us from the Visayas. It was my first time meeting her, and she really inspired me being a fellow Theresian and a nun. I still remember how her soft and firm voice told everyone to do a group prayer... to be honest and uphold integrity of the profession... to be faithful and vigilant.
And now this issue... I'm trully saddened.

pag kilala nyo yung BON na yun, kakainin nyo lahat ng sinabi nyo. ndi sila ganun... and btw, fyi: pag nakapasa ka na sa Board, ndi ka pa sigurado kung makakapagwork ka sa hospital. lahat yata ng hospital ngayon may sariling test na ginagawa. like heart center.. may test sila bago ka makapagwork dun. safe paren ang BON hahaha
