48% pass June 2007 nursing exam

MANILA, Philippines--A total of 31,275 (or some 48 percent) of the 64,909 first-timers, repeaters, and voluntary retakers of all the subjects passed the June 2007 nursing licensure exam, INQUIRER.net learned Sunday.
At the same time, Marco Sto. Tomas, member of the Professional Regulation Commission's Board of Nursing, said 248 (or 73.8 percent) out of 336 retakers as per a decision of the Court of Appeals decision also passed.
In a text message to INQUIRER.net, Sto. Tomas said results for tests 3 and 5 initiated by the decision of the United States' Commission on Graduates of Foreign Nursing Schools will be released on the website of the labor department
