FOR the second time, officials of the Professional Regulation Commission, the Commission on Higher Education, and the National Bureau of Investigation snubbed a Senate inquiry on the alleged leak in the June 2006 nursing licensure exam.
Senator Rodolfo Biazon, head of the committee on civil service and government reorganization, said he received letters from the invited officials who expressed their refusal to attend without a list of questions to be asked at the hearing.
“Their absence tells us [that they are] not concerned with our nurses' welfare,” Biazon said in his introductory speech at the hearing Wednesday.
