Nursing exam passers told to 'be patient' over final court ruling
LABOR Secretary Arturo Brion on Saturday urged nursing board passers and their families not to be impatient and instead wait until the Court of Appeals (CA) issues its final decision on the leakage in the June 2006 nursing licensure examinations.
Yan po ang importante sa ngayon (The problem is there, we need to overcome this it has to be settled so there can be closure. That's what important for now). A final closure for the sake of your children examinees," Brion said.
"For the sake of the integrity of our professional exams please be patient," Brion added.
Brion said the government is doing all it can to finally end the controversy, which has prevented nursing graduates from landing a job in the country and in hospitals abroad.
He said he already requested the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) and the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) for the records of the re-computation of the grades of all the examinees in all the subjects.
The appellate court had ruled on a partial retake of the examination for 1,200 examinees. The CA also allowed nursing graduates who passed the licensure examination conducted outside Metro Manila and Baguio City to take their oath as professional nurses.
Nursing organizations however appealed the court's decision. (MSN/Sunnex)

Be patient ... yeah sure! We've been patient for four months now. How long will we have to wait? Meantime Brion, anong ginagawa regarding the issue? It's so easy for you to say be patient kasi di ikaw ang naghihintay.

yeah we can't wait any longer... we want our license now!

Mr Brion,
Give the nurses their licenses first then they could wait for the results of the investigation, then wait for the corresponding cases to be filed, then wait for the decision of the courts & persecute only the guilty ones.
We can wait forever for that but the licenses, you have to give it to them now because none of you have any right to deny the examinees their licenses unless otherwise they have been proven guilty.
As of this day, not one examinee have been proven guilty.
All we need are simple common sense

to concerned 'parent'
correct po kayo dyan!
to MR. BRION:
